Interoperability Working Group

for next Interop Event
Logo Program News
The most recent Interop Event was held at University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab in October 2007. The event encompassed products from both InfiniBand and iWARP vendors and included HCAs, RNICs, switches, gateways, SRP and iSER targets as well as some new products from the InfiniBand cable community. The interoperability testing was performed using OFED 1.2.5 and the official Logo Grants are scheduled to be released in mid-February.
Next Interop Event (IE)
The next event will be held during the weeks of March 10th – 21st 2008. The IBTA will be conducting compliance testing during the first week, which will result in devices being listed on the Integrators List. OFA interoperability testing will commence on March 17th and Logo Grants will be made for products that complete the testing successfully.
The event will be held at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab in Durham, NH. It will include testing on iWARP and InfiniBand devices and both DDR and SDR devices.

The test plan is being updated for the next event and will include automated scripts to run many of the tests listed below:

- TI MPI Intel *
- TI uDAPL *

Test Plan Status
Certain tests are being promoted from beta to mandatory based on the results at the last Interop Event.
Several new tests are being developed and will be added to the Interop test plan.
- Low-latency ethernet switch tests
- IPoIB CM mode (will be added in addition to the UD test suite)
