2007 OpenFabrics Sonoma Workshop

The OpenFabrics Alliance is hosting the 3rd Annual International Sonoma Workshop, April 29-May 2. The event is being held at The Lodge at Sonoma. Anyone interested in the Alliance’s important and groundbreaking work should not miss this event. Membership in the Alliance is not necessary.

This year’s workshop will be the most content-rich event we’ve ever hosted. Topics will include the latest advances in blade systems, bus architecture, servers, storage networking, telecommunications, and InfiniBand and Ethernet technologies. Attendees and presenters are expected to include system suppliers, OEMs, ISVs, integrators and customers from all over the world. Presentations will also include recent design wins as well as current and planned installations of the OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution software stack.

The Sonoma Workshop is the annual opportunity for users of OpenFabrics software to ensure that the Alliance development communities for both Linux and Windows are aware of the environments and ecosystems in which the OpenFabrics software is being used. The Workshop is also an opportunity for attendees to network with one another and get updates regarding:

• the next Enterprise Distribution of the OpenFabrics software stack (OFED 1.2)
• the Alliance’s certified logo program
• collaboration with the InfiniBand Trade Association and the Ethernet Alliance
• advances that will enable higher-speed and longer-distance transport.
  
  

The Lodge at Sonoma is a world-class resort and spa in Sonoma Valley, less than an hour north of San Francisco in California’s wine country.
