OFA Virtual Workshop 2021 Call for Sessions and Registration Now Open

/ / Consortium News

The OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA) has published a Call for Sessions for its 17th annual OFA Workshop, taking place virtually March 15-19, 2021. The OFA Workshop is a premier means of fostering collaboration among those who develop fabrics, deploy fabrics and create applications that rely on fabrics. It is the only event of its kind where fabric developers and users can discuss emerging fabric technologies, collaborate on future industry requirements, and address problems that exist today. For more information about the virtual OFA Workshop and to find support opportunities, visit the event website.

Session proposals are being solicited in any area related to high performance networks and networking software, with a special emphasis on the topics for this year’s Workshop. Furthermore, the Workshop places a high value on collaboration and communication among participants. In keeping with the theme of collaboration, proposals for Birds of a Feather sessions and Panels are particularly encouraged.

The OFA Virtual Workshop 2021 will focus on the following overarching themes that cover advanced network technology, innovative networking approaches, and the open community:

  • Networks and the Convergence of HPC, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence
  • Evolving Networks in the Commercial World (NEW!)
  • Networking Ecosystem and the Community
  • Networking Technology Nuts and Bolts
  • Other Topics in High-Performance Networking and Computing (NEW!)

To submit a speaking proposal, visit https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ofaws2021

The deadline to submit session proposals is January 22, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. For a list of Workshop topics, session formats and proposal submission instructions, download the official OFA Workshop 2021 Call for Sessions flyer.
