2020 OFA Workshop

Due to the evolving situation with the Coronavirus, the OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA) has decided to postpone the upcoming OFA Workshop 2020 that was to take place March 17-19, 2020 in Columbus, OH.

The OFA is actively exploring the possibility of rescheduling the event for later this year so that fabric developers and users can still have the opportunity to discuss emerging fabric technologies, collaborate on future industry requirements, and to address problems that exist today.

We are offering each attendee the option to leave your registration on account with the OFA to be applied toward the rescheduled Workshop, or of a full refund.  Please let us know which you prefer by sending an email to  We’ll issue a refund to those from whom we haven’t heard by Tuesday, March 31, 2020.  If you leave your registration on account, a full refund will still be available if the rescheduled Workshop dates, when they are announced, don’t work for you.

The current OFA Workshop agenda is subject to change.  As the picture clarifies we will be communicating more details related to a possible rescheduling.

The OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA) is committed to accelerating the development of high performance fabrics. The annual OFA Workshop, taking place this year in Columbus, OH, is a premier means of fostering collaboration among those who develop fabrics, deploy fabrics, and create applications that rely on fabrics. It is the only event of its kind where fabric developers and users can discuss emerging fabric technologies, collaborate on future industry requirements, and address problems that exist today.

Given the continuing spread of the coronavirus, anyone traveling through China, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, or Italy may not attend this event. Regardless of your company affiliation, if you are showing symptoms, otherwise feeling ill or have traveled through any of the cities and/or countries above in the last two weeks, you may not attend this event. Additionally, the OFA respectfully asks attendees to make their travel plans to the OFA Workshop in accordance with U.S. government guidelines.
